Personal Coaching & Consulting

For Artists

Marty has helped hundreds of artists understand more about themselves, and about how their art reflects who they are.  Based on the foundation of insights she helps artists achieve, she then helps them build strategies and techniques for helping them market their art.

Studio Visits

A studio visit is an intensive introduction to you, your work, your history, your desires, and your challenges. This is a great opportunity to jump-start your marketing program. You will have 100% of my listening and 100% of the accumulation of 35 years of marketing experience at your disposal, to help provide direction, solve problems, and brain-storm strategies. The insights resulting from these discussions can be used as the foundation for developing your marketing plan.

Marketing Plan

Frequently, development of a marketing plan is the next step after a studio visit. I'll guide you through the questions you need to answer, and help you develop a personal marketing plan. The plan will provide the steps to accomplish your goals, and will direct you toward your career dreams.

Monthly Coaching & Consulting

As a monthly coach, I will be your partner in helping you achieve your marketing goals. You will be on my mind as I visit galleries, read articles, and network with others in the art world. We'll take at least 30 minutes a week to talk, and you can e-mail me your questions at any time. As part of this, I will help you:

arrow Select and prepare for shows and festivals
arrow Talk about your work to clients and galleries
arrow Get ready for gallery representation
arrow Review or help you create your image-building tools, including your portfolio, resume, artist statement, brochure, postcards, press kit, website, etc.

Coaching for Art Organizations

Marty has also helped art organizations and galleries develop their capabilities for selling art.  From training volunteers, to selecting artists, to providing marketing advice . . . and to helping organize an art organization for growth and profit
